AKTOR QATAR as leader of
the ADCC international Joint Venture

• Project Information: Design and build (engineering, procurement, construction) of a fully integrated, air-conditioned Aircraft Maintenance Hangar.
• Details: Dimensions: 500m x 200m, height ranging from 20m to 45m with wide structural free spans for visibility of various aircraft types and combinations. Features two maintenance bays: Heavy Bay (180m free span) and Light Bay (220m free span) with 29m high hangar doors. Structural steel: 27,000 tons total (Heavy Bay roof: 8,500 tons; Light Bay roof: 10,500 tons), erected on-site and lifted using strand jacks. Includes 1,700 piles totaling 20km, with concrete floors meeting strict tolerances and a total concreting quantity of 178,000m². Equipped with underground service galleries and pop-up pits for utilities delivery at hangar floor level. Specialist equipment: 15-ton capacity overhead cranes, autoclave, nitrogen plant, GPU, elevators, paint booths, and a fully automated storage and retrieval system. Additional facilities: 2,500m² Hazardous Material Building, 4,000 m² Central Utility Plant Building, and two Check Point Buildings for pedestrian access control. Includes underground services and infrastructure supporting the facility.
• Budget: 2.600,000,000 QAR.
• Volume/Area: Total built-up area of 168,000 m².
